Stan Marcus has over 35 years’ experience in corporate and commercial finance.  He has focused for the past 23+ years in non-bank/non traditional commercial lending (both secured and unsecured) primarily to middle-market companies.  This specialized focus has encompassed extensive involvement and expertise in asset-based lending, factoring, trade finance, purchase order finance, equipment leasing and acquisition finance covering a wide range of industries including manufacturing, distribution, retail, apparel, telecommunications, and consumer products, among others.

Mr. Marcus’s background includes regional and general management positions in the commercial finance and banking industries in underwriting, credit, marketing, sales, and portfolio management with companies such as GE Capital, Congress Financial, Bank of New York, Coast Business Credit and Marquette Business Credit.  In these roles he completed more than 425 financings aggregating more than $2.3 billion.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Marcus spent almost 10 years in Corporate Finance positions with companies including Houlihan, Lokey, Howard & Zukin Inc, and Shearson Loeb Rhoades, where he specialized in project finance, mergers & acquisitions, ESOP transactions, debt and equity private placements and corporate restructuring.  He is an active member of various commercial finance associations and founder of the Harvard Business School Association of Orange County.
